Rocky Road Brownies In Spring Colors

Easter may have come and gone, but I'm sure you still have plenty of candy left.  After Halloween when I had lots of chocolate on hand, I found a great recipe for Rocky Road Brownies on the back of a Hershey's Miniatures Chocolate Bars package.  You can view the same recipe on the Hershey's website.  But in honor of Easter and spring, I altered it slightly using bunny marshmallows and omitting the nuts since my kids aren't big fans of nuts.  Here is my spring version of the Rocky Road Brownies:

Ingredients:

38 to 40 HERSHEY'S MINIATURES Chocolate Bars, unwrapped
2-1/2 Cups Bunny Mallows
1 package (13x 9 family size) brownie mix

Here are my ingredients (I had a ton of Hershey's chocolate Nuggets leftover from Brody and Skylar's Knight and Princess Party, so I used a mixture of Hershey's Nuggets and some Hershey's Miniatures).

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Cut each miniature chocolate bars or chocolate nuggets into about 8 pieces.

Here is my little helper who helped me unwrap all of the chocolates:

 2. Stir together Bunny Mallows and chocolate bar pieces and set aside.

3. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Bake brownie 2 minutes less than recommended baking time; sprinkle marshmallow mixture over brownie surface.

 4. Continue baking 3 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and lightly browned. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Using wet knife, cut into squares.

Enjoy!
